What we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe.

1. Who We Are
LeadCrest ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at leadcrestleads.com and related services. We are a lead generation platform that connects homeowners and property-service businesses with qualified contractors. We collect personal information from visitors who submit lead inquiry forms and manage how that information is shared with paying contractors.
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@leadcrestleads.com.
2. What We Collect
We collect information you provide directly:
Contact info: name, email address, phone number
Location: city, state, ZIP code
Service details: type of service needed, property description, urgency, damage description
UTM data: source, medium, and campaign tags from any marketing traffic that referred you
Visitor ID: a browser-generated anonymous identifier stored in localStorage for analytics
We do not collect payment card information — all payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Connect you with relevant contractors in your service area
Score and grade leads to help contractors prioritize outreach
Deliver contact details to contractors who purchase your lead
Send you service-related communications (quotes, contractor responses)
Detect and prevent fraud on our platform
Operate our analytics and service improvement programs
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Lead Handling Responsibilities for Contractors
When you purchase a lead through LeadCrest, you receive the homeowner's contact information under a limited license:
Use only for the quoted service. You may not republish, resell, or transfer a purchased lead to a third party.
No cold marketing. You may not use purchased lead data to contact the homeowner for services unrelated to their submitted request.
Compliance with Do-Not-Call rules. Contractors are responsible for complying with applicable telemarketing laws, including the FTC's Telemarketing Sales Rule, when contacting purchased leads.
Data minimization. Collect only the information you need to provide the service. Do not retain purchased lead data beyond what is necessary for completing the job.
LeadCrest is not responsible for how contractors use contact information after purchase. Contractors are solely liable for their own outreach, follow-up, and compliance with applicable laws.
5. Who We Share Information With
We share personal information in the following circumstances:
Contractor purchase: When a contractor purchases a lead, they receive the homeowner's name, phone, email, and address — the minimum required to fulfill the service request.
Service providers: We share data with Stripe (payment processing), our email delivery provider, and our analytics platform. These providers are contractually bound to use your data only to deliver the services they perform for us.
Legal obligations: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
Business transfers: If LeadCrest is acquired or merged, user data may transfer to the acquiring entity under the same protections described here.
We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or any party beyond what is described above.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our servers, and regular security reviews. No method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
If you suspect unauthorized access to your account or data, contact us immediately at support@leadcrestleads.com.
7. Cookies & Tracking
We use the following cookies and tracking tools:
Essential session cookies: Required to maintain your login session and secure access to your account. These cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.
Analytics cookies: We use a browser-generated anonymous visitor ID stored in localStorage to track aggregate visit patterns and measure marketing campaign performance. This ID is not linked to any personal information.
Stripe cookies: When you complete a payment, Stripe may set cookies to manage the checkout session. These are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking non-essential cookies may affect some features of our site.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
Deletion: Request deletion of your data, subject to our retention obligations
Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link or replying STOP
To exercise any of these rights, email support@leadcrestleads.com with your request and the email address associated with your account. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.
9. Data Retention
We retain lead data for up to 8 days after submission. After that window, leads are permanently deleted from our database — this is an automated nightly process. Contractor's purchase records (which lead was purchased, by whom, when) are retained for 2 years for billing and dispute resolution purposes.
We may retain anonymized, aggregated data indefinitely for analytics purposes — this data cannot be linked back to any individual.
